Master Guo Che became a monastic in Taiwan in 1986 under the guidance of Master Sheng Yen. She specializes in giving lectures on the Dharma, teaching Buddhist courses, and guiding meditation. She has served as an adjunct assistant researcher and Sanskrit teacher at the Chinese Buddhist Research Institute, a Sanskrit teacher at the Institute of Religion at Fu Jen Catholic University, and participated in the National Science Research Council's special project on "Sanskrit Buddhist Text Research". She is currently a Buddhist teacher at the Dharma Drum Mountain Sangha in Taiwan and a full-time assistant professor at the Dharma Drum Mountain Sangha University. She has been teaching meditation training classes since 1984. She has written "A Preliminary Study on the Twelfth Branch of the Sanskrit Version of the Pure Bright Verses", "A Preliminary Study on the Life of the Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese Versions of the Twenty Verses on Consciousness Only", "The Simple Notation of the Old Man Dongchu", "An Overview of the Thoughts of Master Sheng Yen and Humanistic Buddhism on the Earth", and "A Preliminary Study on the Absorption of the Pure Land in the Dharma Drum Mountain".
