Introducing Chan Meditation for the Claremont College Buddhism Group

On 4/28/16,Dharma Drum Mountain Los Angeles Center (DDMLAC) was invited by the president of Claremont College Buddhism Group (CCBG), Andrew Nguy, to lead a meditation session at the college campus. 

Tina Jen, President of DDMLAC’s  volunteer group, met with the group and introduced DDM to the students and, at the same time, taught and guided the Seven-Points sitting meditation, relaxation and the moving meditation.

CCBG was a newly formed group and members meet weekly.  They are presently learning different lineages of Buddhism.  The students indicated that the practice of relaxation prior meditation really helped quiet their minds during the meditation.
